Art Basel is undoubtedly the world’s most respectable art fair. This year, the fair was hosted entirely online, with leading galleries from all over the world showcasing a carefully curated selection of contemporary artwork.
Alison Jacques Gallery presented a virtual booth, created by Emperia, that offered a more realistic and highly differentiated online art fair experience to the visitors. The virtual booth replicates the layout of the physical space usually occupied by the Gallery at Art Basel, showcasing the gallery’s signature style and minimalistic placement of the artworks. Placed in a warehouse mimicking Art Basel venue, with other booths around it, this virtual presentation created a sense of presence in the actual Fair.
