TAFETA Gallery

TAFETA is a London-based gallery dedicating itself to 20th-century and contemporary African art. TAFETA ‘s contemporary program intently looks out to locate and stand for emerging, mid-career, and established artists in Africa and the diaspora. TAFETA has been featured in notable international publications such as the Financial Times, The New York Times, and the Art Newspaper and has worked to place contemporary African art in prominent public and private collections, including the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Arts, Washington D.C.

Their OVR show features a 150 square meters make-believe space seeking inspiration from modern house architecture to create an atmosphere of a living space rather than a gallery. The authentic virtual gallery is surrounded by a Nigerian garden, making it atmospheric and ethereal.
