The Ralph Lauren virtual store was hosted as a bespoke room within Bloomingdale's virtual holiday store to provide a unique brand experience to shoppers this holiday season. The immersive virtual store, set in a snowy ski chalet in the mountains, featured various products, using 3D technology, from Ralph Lauren's seasonal range. Customers could explore these in their own time and shop direct from the experience.
To one side of the experience was a cinema-type space in which users could sit back, relax and watch a branded Ralph Lauren video. With e-commerce virtual stores becoming a key component of holiday shopping, Bloomingdale’s new multi-brand approach is setting a new precedent to the future of online retail and the endless possibilities the metaverse has to offer.
