And now, the magic begins…

Mastering Product Placement with Locking 3D Models and Props in Position

At the forefront of our efforts to enhance our software and create an optimal virtual store solution, we prioritize our customer’s needs. We are thrilled to introduce the latest iteration of Artemis, version 2.3.2, which boasts numerous new features that we believe you’ll love!

Artemis now includes a powerful new feature that enables users to place products on displays and group them together. This not only allows for seamless navigation when moving around product displays but also saves time and effort when designing visual merchandising displays. For instance, if a brand wants to create a feature wall displaying multiple products, and later decides to move the entire display to a different part of the virtual store, they can now move all the products at once instead of having to move each item individually.

By attaching 3D models to props as a moveable group, the user now has a much easier and more intuitive way to place products and build visual merchandising displays.

With this new feature, brands now have more flexibility and freedom when designing and exploring their virtual store layout. With the ability to experiment with different product placements, they can discover what areas their customers tend to interact with more often and place products strategically in these areas, ultimately increasing the chances of a sale.

Simplifying 3D Product Creation with 360° Videos

The 360 product video feature is one of the most anticipated additions to Artemis. It’s no secret that consumers are more likely to engage with 3D content, which is why this feature is so important. According to statistics, 71% of shoppers prefer 3D product content over other types of product content, making it an excellent alternative to 2D models for your virtual store. Moreover, research has shown that visitors who view 3D product models are 73% more likely to convert into paying customers.

By incorporating 360-degree product videos, businesses can improve the product discovery experience, allowing customers to view them in a way that accurately represents their entire product catalog, increasing shopper confidence and reducing return rates.

“We are very excited to launch support for 360 product video in Artemis. It will enable brands to upload a true representation of their products into Artemis, which eliminates the need to have 3D models on hand. This means fewer costs on modeling, and more possibilities to re-use the content brands already have.”

360° Product Videos | Emperia

To create a 360 product video, you’ll need .mov or .mp4 files of the product you’d like to feature. Each video should feature one full clockwise rotation to ensure we can optimize performance.

Artemis offers a seamless integration into existing e-commerce platforms, which allows for fast updates and enhances the checkout process for consumers by eliminating any additional steps when making a purchase in a virtual store. With this feature, brands can easily update the pricing of products, along with descriptions, sizes, and other details, making any small changes quick and easy.

This saves time for brands and provides customers with an improved immersive shopping experience. With the ability to modify product details effortlessly, brands can stay up-to-date with the latest trends and respond to changes in the market quickly, giving them a competitive edge in the world of e-commerce.

New log-out feature

The new log-out feature is an important security enhancement that provides users with an additional layer of protection for their data. With this feature, users can be confident that their session and data are secure and will be accessible when they return. This is especially important for brands that want to protect their sensitive information and unauthorized access or data breaches.

By ensuring that the session and data are securely stored when users log out, the log-out feature helps to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches. This is a critical security enhancement that can help brands avoid potentially costly and damaging security incidents.

Emperia’s commitment to providing the most user-friendly and efficient virtual store design platform is reflected in this latest addition. It is recommended to use the log-out feature when switching users or if you want to forget the current user’s credentials. On a shared computer, logging out is particularly important to ensure that the next person using the computer cannot access the previous user’s account without the proper credentials.

Artemis’ latest version also includes a new undo/redo feature, which allows brands to experiment with different visual merchandising layouts, product placements, and space decor customization without worrying about making mistakes. This feature allows them to undo or redo any task performed within the virtual experience, such as copy and pasting, moving objects, and deleting them.

With this new addition, brands no longer need to constantly contact the Emperia creative team to make small adjustments, which saves time and avoids any potential bottlenecks in the design process. The undo/redo feature enables retailers to fine-tune their product placement strategy and optimize sales and conversions.

Conclusion

“Working with 3D technology should not be complex – with the latest feature releases, we are making it much easier for brands to build their immersive commerce experiences by improving user controls, the content that they can upload, and generally lowering the entry bar for 3D, effectively progressing into a future where virtual commerce becomes the new reality of digital retail.”
